MISSION STATEMENT

"This SIG represents the interest of practitioners and end-users of the valuation and appraisal industry by compiling relevant standards from the Appraisal Foundation, through presentations to various industry groups and associations, on recommended practices, and through the presentation of technical papers at various professional associations and societies, local sections, in trade journals, and at annual meetings."

The SIG Chair is continuing his work with the Appraisal Standards Advisory Council ("ASAC") in Washington, D.C. for the 2001/02 term.  This SIG is also compiling a bibliography of valuation and appraisal publications, and a valuation data source compendium by industry type.
